Where science meets hands-on engineering
Established with the college’s inception in 1976, the Mechanical Engineering Department graduates engineers with a deep understanding of engineering principles and practical applications.
We focus on equipping our students with solid scientific foundations and practical training in design, production, and energy fields, enabling them to contribute effectively across various engineering sectors.
Focuses on energy-related systems and their conversion. Core courses include thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, power plants, internal combustion engines, refrigeration and air-conditioning.
Concerned with the design and manufacture of mechanical components and systems. Courses cover materials science, manufacturing processes, machine design, CNC, and precision measurements.
To offer high-quality mechanical engineering education and contribute to community development through our academic and research outputs.
To supply the labor market with competent engineers equipped with the necessary scientific knowledge and practical skills through advanced academic programs and a supportive environment for application and research.
Our goals revolve around students while continuously developing the department and serving the community:
The department hosts several specialized labs enabling students to apply theoretical concepts and conduct practical experiments across mechanical engineering fields.
